Doloc Town Cooking: Discovery, Stations, and Recipes

How discovery-based cooking works in Doloc Town, which Life-tree stations unlock recipes, sample ingredient combinations, and the 1.00.02 batch-cooking change.

Doloc Town cooking is discovery-based. Prepare a valid ingredient combination once and the dish is permanently recorded for later use.

Recipes use ingredient categories rather than fixed items, order does not matter, and optional slots can stay empty. High-value ingredient combinations can produce a better-quality dish.

How the cooking flow works

  • A dish is saved after the first successful combination.
  • The improved result depends on the combined base selling value of the ingredients.
  • Quality thresholds vary by dish, with recorded examples from 75 to 350.
  • Large or upgraded workstations finish the same recipe faster.

Version notes

  • The 1.00.02 update added batch crafting to free-cooking mode.
  • The patch also changed some food sell prices and recovery values, so older wiki numbers may be outdated.
  • Failure dishes can reach an all-stat -999 result. The hidden achievements Overcooked and I Am Stupid are related to cooking mistakes, though the direct trigger chain was inferred from the evidence rather than confirmed by a player test.
