Doloc Town farms are constrained horizontally, so the main layout idea is to build upward. The official Steam description confirms that platforms stack freely and the home is meant to grow level by level.
No formal best-layout guide appeared in the research. The strongest current example comes from a 1.0 player farm posted on Reddit, supported by official and professional advice to expand vertically.
Early-game structure
- Build a row of ten Plant Basin - Wood planters.
- Add a Platform - Wooden above them instead of trying to expand sideways.
- Grow weather-vulnerable crops inside a container or another protected area.
- Use the first small container for a house and cooking area.
Container zones
- One current player stacked blue containers on the right side and medium containers beside them.
- They planned large containers on the right specifically for planters and a greenhouse for shrubs.
- Other zones handled smoking, pickling, brewing, and crafting.

Sprinkler planning
The game shows a sprinkler's area of effect while placing it. A current player measured the electric sprinkler as covering 6x10 and said six planters can fit on rows above and below the sprinkler, though that count came from a single community report.
Automation and rebuilding
- A player described a clockwise seed loop carried by a logistic drone. Farming drones intercept seeds from the loop and plant them in greenhouses.
