Doloc Town Roadmap: What Was Promised and Delivered

The official Doloc Town Early Access roadmap, which promises were fulfilled by 1.0, what is not planned, and the missing post-1.0 roadmap.

The official Doloc Town Early Access roadmap from May 15, 2025 promised three major updates to complete the main story, add sidequests, festivals, furniture, decorations, and new systems, and finish 1.0 within about a year.

That plan was delivered: version 1.0 launched on August 6, 2026 with the main story complete, 37 new achievements, Old City Ruins, automation systems, and a mushroom festival.

What was delivered

  • Three planned major updates leading to the full release.
  • Completed main story content.
  • Additional sidequests, festivals, furniture, decorations, and new gameplay systems.
  • 1.0 release on August 6, 2026, matching the one-year goal.
  • 37 new achievements, bringing the total to 80.

What the roadmap excluded

  • Multiplayer was not in the development plan at the time.
  • The developer prioritized a polished single-player experience.
  • The friendship system focused on deep friendship rather than romance or marriage.
  • The roadmap said multiplayer possibilities might be explored after the full release; that wording is not a confirmation that multiplayer is coming.

Steam Workshop status

The roadmap said Workshop would open after the full release at a more suitable time. As of August 12, 2026, the Steam Community still said functional mods are not supported, so the Workshop promise had not yet appeared.

What is missing now

No post-1.0 roadmap

No new public roadmap after the 1.0 release was found in the research. Future update, DLC, or port plans should be confirmed from official Steam news or Discord.
